Lessons
- 26.1MCP: one protocol between AI apps and the worldEvery AI app used to wire up every tool by hand. MCP is one shared plug, so each tool is wired once and every app can use it. 30 min MCP explorer
- 26.2Building an MCP server for a hotel PMSNow you build the other side: one small program that lets any AI app safely talk to a hotel's booking system. 30 min MCP explorer
On the job: try it on your own project
List the MCP servers you or your team use with Claude Code, and the internal systems you wish it could reach. Ask Claude Code to explain what each existing server exposes as tools and resources. Pick one internal system and write a one-page MCP server proposal: which read-only tools it offers, who can use it, and what it must never expose.
